(March 13, 2008) -- Florida U.S. Democratic Senator Bill Nelson and his Michigan counterpart will meet with Democratic donors today to figure out how to pay for a proposed do-over for the states' two Democratic presidential primaries. The Democratic National Committee stripped both states of their delegates because they broke party rules and held earlier primaries. Over the weekend, a number of Democratic leaders came out in favor of the idea to hold a primary do-over with mail-in ballots. But there are concerns from the Barack Obama campaign over ballot security and voter eligibility. A formal announcement of a repeat primary could come in the next few days. 90.7's David Pitman visited Orange County Democratic Party chairman Bill Robinson, and he said he supports a second primary on mail-in ballots.
